Mystery Online Shoppers Needed
What is it?
We work closely with a number of clients who are changing there ecommerce solutions (their shopping carts) and these carts need to be tested before they go “live”. We have been drafted in to provide testers from multiple locations across both the US and the UK to test their new shopping carts and to comment on their ease of use or lack of it. This is critical for our clients because shopping cart errors can cost thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Dollars or Pounds in lost revenue.
How it works
- Our client will contact us with their requirements for a test
- We will send you an email asking you to confirm your availability for the test. We do this as our clients request limited numbers (usually between 50 – 200)
- The quicker you respond the better! The spots fill up quite fast and its on a first come first serve basis. Speed is crucial for our clients.
- When you are selected you will be given some details to enter into our clients shopping cart (usually a test sale item)
- Upon completion of the test you will be asked to submit a brief report (takes about 2 minutes max) asking about ease of use and any errors you found.
- You get paid

Pay Per Click

Pay Per Click Marketing (PPC)
PPC Marketing gives you the ability to bid on phrases or keywords that your customers may use when they search for products in the search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Msn. PPC Marketing has experienced huge growth in the last 2 years and it is increasing despite the current recession. Google is estimated to account for over 80% of UK search traffic and I can deliver targeted traffic through Google, Yahoo and Msn to get maximum exposure to your website.
I always get asked “is it expensive” well yes it can be! You can burn through a lot of cash via PPC and see nothing in return if you don’t know what you are doing. It is essential in my opinion to get the lowest possible cost per click possible, now there are techniques to do this that are not always followed or even known about by some advertisers. Why pay £0.50p per click when you can pay £0.05 per click on an optimised landing page. It baffles me sometimes when I see the cost of some campaigns and the amount of money they are literally throwing away.
The biggest criteria for any PPC campaign is Tracking and Split Testing. It is criminal and I mean CRIMINAL if you are not having each individual keyword in your PPC campaign tracked. How else do you know what is making you money and what is a dead loss? It is also essential to split test these keywords that are making you money to see if you can further improve these campaigns to make you even money per click.
I can personally offer full tracking, split testing, keyword research with competitor analysis to see what keywords your direct competition are using. With this information coupled with the lowest possible Cost Per Click you can be confident that you are getting the best possible bang for your buck so to speak!

Search Engine Optimisation
Search Engine Optimisation
I am sure you have heard of search engine optimisation or SEO from many places on the net or from web designers / developers. For some designers / developers they make it sound like its some sort of holy grail and completely unobtainable without their help or “service”, the problem really comes about when they don’t even do the basics!
Firstly its knowing what to optimise for? What keyword / keywords are you optimising your page for, ideally it should only be 1 keyword per page but there are techniques that can get you top results with 2 or more keywords. Second, once you know what your keyword is you really need to analyse your potential competitor sites within Google (estimated 70% of searches done via this search engine) and then copy / imitate there seo conditions. Not all pages within google are optimised in the same way. There are also two main types of optimisation, onpage and offpage. The very basics of onpage and I mean BASICS are to fill out correctly all the meta data, H1, H2, H3 tags, on page images named after keyword with anchor text again with your keyword in, Italic / Bolding / Underlining your keyword, Intra Linking between pages of your site with your keywords. These I would summise are the VERY basics of onpage SEO and if your page does not have all these then you are not as optimised as you could be.
Off page optimisation is a whole new ball game, this mainly but not only consists of getting qualifed, quality backlinks to your site ideally from related pages (not necessarily sites) regarding your keyword. These should have dofollow links rather then the rel=nofollow tag as this will provide you further link juice and above all your link should not be going back to http://www.mysite.com it should link back to mykeyword with mykeyword linking back to your site or individual page you want to rank for.

Keyword Research
Keyword Research
For me keyword research is the lifeblood of any website. If you don’t know what keywords your customers are using to find your site and BUY from your site then how do you know what keywords you want to optimise your site for or alternatively create PPC campaigns for? RedFire Internet Marketing has access to some of the best keyword tools available on the net today, we pay a lot of money for these and it would be completely unpractical for you to do the same but we use these tools EVERY DAY.
If you are thinking you can get to page 1 in google’s natural search for the term “online mortgage” with a brand new website then you are in for quite a shock. HOWEVER what about if we dug down a bit deeper and looked at “online mortgage manchester” now this would potentially be a keyword we could dominate for you. When we say dominate we mean dominate! We don’t mean have 1 result in the top 10 of google’s natural search, we mean we have 5-6 results at least within googles natural search results top 10. Can you imagine having the majority of the first page of Google’s natural search results? It doesn’t matter thjen which website the potential customer goes to, ultimately they will be viewing your website and then its up to your website to convert them.
Keyword Research therefore is vital. You really do need to know what customers are searching for and how you can get those customers to your site. We don’t mean any keywords either, we look for BUYERS keywords, the one’s that customers are putting into google with the aim to buy something. It is important to clarify the keyword you are targetting to decide whether this person is a buyer or a browser, ideally you want buyers of course but don’t discount browsers because depending on your landing page that they go to, browsers can be ultimately converted to buyers with the right motivation and time.
